We offer sustainable countryside activity weekends including wild food foraging, bushcraft, 'go wild' activities including archery, as well as 'making and baking courses'. From Bristol andor Airport: Take the A38 South (away from Bristol). You will go down a large hill and past the Holiday Inn hotel on your right. Shortly after, you will see a sign on the left to Blagdon, turn left here and go to the end of the lane. At the T junction at the end DO NOT turn left signposted Blagdon, but turn right this road is the A368. Travel along the A368 for about a quarter of a mile, take the second turning left which is the B3134 signposted Burrington combe. Travel to the top of the combe, passing over two cattle grids, one at the bottom and one at the top of the combe. Shortly after the second cattle grid you will see a turning on the left this is Ellick Road, turn left here and pass the small lane and post box and Ashcroft House is the first white cottage on the left. There is no BandB sign (as we only take guests who are pre-booked) so if you can't find us, please ring us. It's easy to find.
